    Kollmorgen, a world leader in manufacturing motion systems and components for OEMs, needed to develop a comprehensive web strategy that would address a number of challenges – the biggest being the company's desire to be perceived as a provider of solutions, rather than simply a manufacturer.

    Symmetri led a two-day workshop with Kollmorgen to define a new information architecture that delivered the content, technology and resources needed to express the new strategy.

    Over 18 months, the web strategy successfully guided website enhancements: the Kollmorgen.com site was migrated to a new Content Management System, new wireframes were created, a new design was approved and previously-acquired company websites were consolidated into a new Kollmorgen.com. An entirely new site was launched in late 2011.
